Since my first time at a wheel during my 3D Design A-level, I have been hooked on pottery! I was fortunate enough to get my own wheel for my 18th birthday, which allowed me to start creating at home. After my A-levels, I started an art foundation at Stroud College, which helped me expand my knowledge. I am infatuated with all aspects of the process, but the science behind the glazing and firing is something I’d love to understand more about. Outside of my studies, I have actively pursued further knowledge by spending time, learning from, and helping out in studios of working potters, both locally and further afield. I’m very excited to start my next chapter working with the team at Stroud Pottery!
